Nwes have recently commenced a contract with Mary Moppins and so far we are extremely pleased with the work they provide. Mary Moppins exceed in their ability to meet with our high standards and are very reliable with constant changes that need to be made due to the nature of our business. I am the Private Sector Liaison Officer working within the Waveney District Council (WDC), Housing Options Group.
Part of my remit is to place tenants into properties that WDC has secured for the purpose of temporary accommodation until they/or WDC can procure long term private sector housing or social housing for them.
At the time a tenant leaves one of these properties, a full vacation inspection is carried out.
There are times when a tenant leaves a property in a dirty and bad state. They may have a dirty toilet and bath or sower, dirty kitchen cabinets, carpets stained and marked etc.
In the above cases we usually contact Mary Moppins as this company has always carried out cleaning to a high level. Mary Moppins carries out a full property clean, specific cleaning to areas requested by WDC, cleaning of carpets and thorough oven cleans where necessary.
We have found Mary Moppins to be professional. The end results have in all but one case been very satisfactory. In relation to the one case referred to, Mary Moppins met me at the property, discussed my complaint with me and carried out the additional works required, immediately and satisfactorily.
I have always felt that a company is only as good as its service when a complaint is raised. In the case of Mary Moppins this was excellent and we have had no other problem cases since that time.
WDC is not able to recommend any companies to a third party but I hope the above has been of assistance you in making your choice of appointing a cleaning company.
